This charming cafe blends traditional Korean dessert culture with a cozy, modern atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for both relaxation and studying.

The highlight of The Bingsu Cafe is, of course, the bingsu - a Korean dessert that has taken the world by storm with its fluffy, finely shaved ice and indulgent toppings. Customers rave about the Matcha Almond Bingsu, which combines snowy ice with a generous dusting of premium matcha powder and sweet matcha ice cream, delivering a rich and captivating flavor experience for just CA$14.99. The menu doesn't stop at bingsu; it also features a wide range of invigorating bubble teas. Whether you’re in the mood for the Lychee Yakult Tea at CA$7.90, with its refreshing citrusy notes, or the decadent yet playful Chocolate Milk Tea for CA$7.40, there’s something to satisfy every palate. the best bingsu I’ve tried in Waterloo! it’s perfectly light and airy, and the combinations are all amazing. the actual shaved ice part isn’t watery at all, and the location is so conveniently close to campus. the matcha taiyaki was also so good and fresh. it wasn’t too sweet and filled with whole red beans. the washroom was a bit dirty, though, but the place is decorated very nicely overall.

Delicious dalgona coffee. 11/10. I’m thoroughly satisfied and will definitely be going back for this. I think about this coffee every day and resist the urge to get it everyday. Croffle was also very enjoyable so crispy and buttery and sweet. So cute and cozy inside lots of seating options and outlets for studying. ALSO there’s a cute photo booth in the back 10$ for 2 strips.

I love the Bingsu here it’s so good and it’s huge! It’s worth the price and it’s perfect to share with someone. Personally I like the strawberry one and the mango one.

A cute cafe to have a dessert! The strawberry almond bingsu was delicious, but we got fewer strawberries the second time compared to the first. We didn't like the matcha almond much because there wasn't much matcha flavour. Also, the portion size of the strawberry almond seemed to be noticeably smaller than the matcha almond we got. If you're looking for something savoury for not-dessert, the odeng cup soup was yummy and had radish too. Would return to have dessert with friends again

since it’s an authentic Korean cafe,I ordered for matcha taiyaki, expecting that they make it live. unfortunately, they were frozen, the lady air fried and served us. Taste was not bad, the lady customer service was very sweet!!

Delicious! I was very excited to try bingsu for the first time and I wasn't disappointed. We had the mango and the matcha almond and they were very very good. I kept talking about it all day after we left. I can't wait to go back!!! A must try for anyone in the area looking for a sweet treat!
